Last week was pretty tough for me. I was feeling pretty down on myself because I’m just not losing weight, I’m not seeing changes even though I’m working harder than I ever have in my life. My knee was a little sore and we had to work around that at training.
I know I’ve been through this before. I know I AM changing, I’m just impatient. Patience is somebody’s virtue, just not mine.
I gave myself a little pep talk on Friday. I’ve found that tracking my weight, my food and my workouts all help me to keep focused. Last week I started writing down my goals to help me remember what I’m doing and how I will get there.
How do you stay focused and motivated when you’re having a rough time?
