Are you trying to tell me something, world?

What is the world trying to tell me?

Things that have made me feel old lately

Image

Donna Martin is celebrating her 20th High School Reunion this year.  And so am I.  (SHHHH. Don’t tell anyone in my class that I know.  Or where I live.  Or what my address is.)

I do not “get” either the Gangnam Style or Harlem Shake phenomenon or why they are funny.

And this morning the doctors tells me that I need to wear compression socks to help with my circulation after workouts.  I imagine the sexiness looking something like this

DAMN SEXY

Oh world.  You are Just Not Funny this week.

And I’m not Old!

As someone who is five years older than you, I can assure you that you are not getting older. Like a fine wine, you are getting better and better every year.

Hi Aimee, I came here to check out your blog. And got a kick out of “not getting” gangnam style. Me neither. But then again I don’t get Instagram…so what does that say? You should know that compression socks are actually getting a lot of traction…so there are more fashionable options. Lots of endurance athletes are wearing them during races and even after recovery. So you’ll be stylin’ with the best of them. We do have a few at the site…I’ll be adding another style in a couple weeks. But definitely look around…you’ll find options you can wear with nice pants even. Or knee socks with shorts or skirts…but then again I don’t get that either!!! Well, I did when I was 7. LOL.

The real reason I came is to recognize the success you’ve had on your fitness journey. Do you want to share your story at Attagirl? We need stories about inspiring people to help motivate others!

    Best,
    Kathy

I LOVE my Compression socks! Wearing them at the moment, actually.. I recently put an awesome discount on my FB, too (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=193031607487569&set=a.163296783794385.5811.143291709128226&type=1).

They come in cute colors, so no need to look like a granny.. haha. I have hot pink and purple ones and debating what color to get with this discount. Yeah, they are a bit pricey, but your legs will love you. And you will wear them for three days straight. No joke. ;)

They absolutely have helped me when I get the urge to run and suffer painful shin splints or calf pain after!
